SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs? Are you looking for flexible work to maintain a balanced lifestyle? GSL Education is currently seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within primary and secondary settings.
Responsibilities:
-            Supporting children and young adults with profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and complex medical needs.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Collaborating with family members, medical professionals and school leaders to develop and implement a student-centered service plan to meet their social, emotional and development needs.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Managing behaviour within the classroom and being aware of triggers, using de-escalation techniques.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Use specialist equipment and techniques to support students learning and development.
Role Requirements:
-            Hold a qualification in Health and Social care or relevant fields – (Level 3 Diploma in
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience working with children or young adults with complex needs in an educational or care setting.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Be a strong and engaging communicator.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Be compassionate, caring, and have a genuine desire to help young people overcome their barriers.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
