Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex needs? Do you want a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference in students' lives? GSL Education is currently seeking a full-time Complex Needs Support Worker to work within schools and other educational settings in Lincoln.

Responsibilities:

Supporting children and young people with complex needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, and complex medical needs.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualised learning and care plans tailored to the specific needs of each student.
Assisting with behaviour management within the classroom, using de-escalation techniques and supporting positive behavioural strategies.
Helping students access the curriculum and supporting their personal, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Working closely with medical professionals to ensure students' physical and emotional needs are met.

Role Requirements:

A qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field (Level 3 Diploma or equivalent).
Experience working with children or young people with complex needs in an educational or care setting.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting students overall development and well-being.
A DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
