Are you an organised individual with experience in Stores/Warehouse operations? Join our team as a Material Handling Operator and grow your career with us! �?

Responsibilities:As a Material Handling Operator, your main duties will include:

  • Performing logistics processing, including Goods Receipt, Warehouse Management, Transport, and Dispatch
  • Ensuring the accuracy of incoming goods and addressing any visible damage
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining data accuracy in our systems and conducting regular stock maintenance
  • Packing, assembling, and preparing deliveries according to shipping instructions
  • Safely transporting goods within and sometimes outside the premises

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in Stores or material control (ideally within a rail environment)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
  • Knowledge of health and safety practises
  • IT literacy, particularly in MS Office applications and SAP
  • A full driving licence and FLT experience

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in logistics processing in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with stock management systems

Technologies:

  • Forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks
  • MS Office Suite
  • SAP for inventory management
