Multi Drop Delivery Driver – Bakery Goods
Location: Linlithgow EH49 6
Pay: From £674 per week (including holiday pay)
Hours: 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday), minimum 8 hours per day (up to 10 hours)
Contract: PAYE, Temp to Perm – Permanent contract available for the right candidate
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team, delivering high-quality bakery goods to customers promptly and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver bakery goods safely and on time to customers' designated locations
- Take responsibility for vehicle condition, including daily checks and temperature monitoring
- Load and unload goods manually, ensuring proper handling and care
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service and professional etiquette at all times
- Accurately manage payments, invoices, and necessary documentation
- Collect empty baskets from clients and report any issues or accidents immediately
- Follow traffic laws and maintain accurate tachograph records (if applicable)
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance the company’s image
- Follow company hygiene and safety procedures consistently
- Previous experience in a delivery role preferred but not essential
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Full, clean UK driving licence
