We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Admin – Purchase Ledger and Payroll to join our finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and managing purchase ledger activities. You will be instrumental in maintaining our financial health by working closely with all members of the finance team and management.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare, process, and distribute employee payslips, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Employee Data Management: Maintain and update employee payroll records, including hours worked, salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Invoice Processing: Process purchase invoices onto all software systems ensuring accuracy and compliance is maintained.
  • Payments Management: Process payments to suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Tax and Compliance: Handle tax-related documentation and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Reporting: Generate payroll reports and provide financial summaries to management as required.
  • Customer Service: Address employee queries related to payroll and payments, providing excellent customer service.
  • Financial Records: Maintain accurate records of all payroll and payment transactions, supporting the preparation of year-end accounts.
  • Purchase Ledger Management: Generate and authorise purchase orders, process invoices, and manage supplier payments efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and purchase ledger management.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using finance software and payroll systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
