Are you an experienced Finance Manager seeking a fresh opportunity to join a growing team and take charge of the accounting operations for a new arm to the well established business. This role is crucial for contributing to the financial strategy and development of internal control policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (formally or QBE) with a strong background in managing accounting operations and a strategic mindset to support business growth.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.
  • Prepare and publish monthly financial statements.
  • Create annual and monthly reports to identify results, trends, and forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate recording, filing, and reporting of all transactions.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Streamline and improve operations and accounting systems.
  • Coordinate the management of cash flow, debt, and debt collection.
  • Oversee the audit process and liaise with external personnel as required.
  • Support the business with financial strategy and decision-making processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or highly experienced QBE professional.
  • Analytical, with problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong personal and communication skills, confident leadership, and management abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels.
