Accounts Administrator
Liskeard

Our client, a nationally recognised engineering business, is currently in search of an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.

As the Accounts Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing various financial tasks and general administrative duties to ensure smooth financial operations within the company.

The responsibilities:

  • Input purchase invoices and generate supplier reports.
  • Manage suggested supplier payments on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Import banking and aircraft management data into accounting software.
  • Handle company credit card data entry and reconciliation.
  • Assist with reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash.
  • Support sales ledger invoicing requirements.
  • Review nominal ledger activities for accruals and prepayments.
  • Manage accounting email correspondence and communicate with customers and suppliers.
  • Conduct end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Manage month-end task completion process and assist with VAT preparation and submission.

The candidate:

  • Previous experience within a similar accounts role.
  • Strong team player with keen attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Analytical thinker with strong math skills and proactive learning attitude.
  • Committed to service excellence, with thorough knowledge of UK Payroll regulations.
