Job Title: Temporary Accounts Assistant

Location: Liskeard, Cornwall

Duration: 6 Months + , ASAP start date

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Salary: 12-12.50 per hour

The Role :. Our client, an established engineering organisation, is seeking an experienced accounts administrator to support their team. As an Accounts Administrator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of finance related tasks.

Key Duties :

  • Daily bank reconciliation for all accounts.
  • Producing monthly bank reconciliation reports for management information purposes.
  • Printing monthly bank statements for record-keeping.
  • Generating and updating invoices for external engineering projects
  • Managing and responding to queries regarding engineering invoices
  • Preparing and reviewing utilisation schedules
  • Reconciling income contract schedules and maintenance schedules with the accounting software
  • Processing sales invoicing, including contractual and ad hoc invoices
  • Assisting with payment processing in the absence of senior accounts staff
  • Importing data from company systems to the finance software on a daily basis
  • Processing payroll data for all companies within the organisation
  • Providing support for purchase and engineering invoice processes

About You :

Experience using SAGE line 50

Relevant experience in a similar role

Excellent numerical and analytical skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Good communication and interpersonal skills

A positive and proactive attitude
