Teaching Assistant with Lunchtime duties

We are very excited to have started working with a Primary school in Liskeard. The school is currently looking for a teaching assistant/ Lunchtime Supervisor. This is a varied role involving both supporting students and teachers in the classroom and supervising lunchtime.

Your role as a TA will be varied and no two days are the same. You responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the teacher during lessons
  • supervise individual groups
  • get the classroom ready for lessons
  • behaviour management
  • accompany the class during visits and outings
  • support children with reading
  • work alongside the SENCO and monitor or asses students progress

This tole will also include lunchtime supervisor duties. You will be covering an area during break times, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the students. You will encourage positive behaviour, assist children with preparing meals, hand washing and promoting good table manners and healthy eating habits.
