12 to 14 per hour (Depending on Experience)

We are seeking A CSCS Labourer, on behalf of our esteemed client.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable labourer to assist in the construction of pig pens on a farm. This role involves manual labour, working as part of a team to build strong and functional pens to house livestock. You will be working outdoors and expected to take pride in ensuring that all pig pens are constructed to the highest standards of safety and durability. Experience in basic construction or farming tasks is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the building and construction of pig pens, including the setting of posts, building walls, fitting gates, and ensuring the pens are secure and functional.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction materials to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist in clearing the site and preparing the foundation for the pens.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling equipment and materials.
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Help transport and manage materials to the construction site as needed.
• Perform any other tasks as required to support farm operations.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction, manual labour, or farming is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Strong physical stamina and fitness, as the role involves manual labour in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• A proactive approach to work and the ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures, with a willingness to follow training.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality.
