Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will:
- Perform operational duties on the main boiler, FGT plant and turbine using DCS.
- Carry out routine testing of plant equipment and inspections when required, recording data accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor performance of plant and ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor security systems and CCTV on site.
- Provide clear and comprehensive shift handovers.
- Undergo training and development competence in line with on site safety rules.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Similar operational experience in Energy from Waste or other power sector.
- Experience with SCADA as a minimum, DCS highly sought after.
- Royal Navy/Marine Engineer applications welcome.
- Level 3 in relevant engineering subject as a minimum.
- Computer literate.
