Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Littleborough
47k Per Annum
Hours: 7.30am - 4.00pm (Mon-Thurs), 7.30am - 3.00pm (Fri), with a 30-minute lunch break
Call-out: 1 in every 7 weeks - 70 per call out - after midnight - Double time.

Our client are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. You'll be working across multiple sites, playing a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across various sites.
* Conduct fixed wire testing, installation work, and panel building.
* Fault finding and programming with Siemens PLCs.
* Carry out testing (City & Guilds 2391), instrumentation, and some mechanical work.
* Work with AC/DC drives and handle Compex-related tasks.
* Perform scheduled maintenance, complete reports, and manage stock for parts.
* Participate in an on-call rotation (1 in 7 weeks)


Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
* Apprentice trained, ideally with City & Guilds or HNC (City & Guilds preferred).
* 18th Edition certification.
* CompEx and IPAF training.
* Strong skills in PLC programming and fault finding.
* Proficiency in panel building, instrumentation, and fixed wire testing.
* Some mechanical knowledge.
* Experience with AC/DC drives.
* Must have own transport and hand tools.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Comfortable working with multi-site operations and occasional overtime.
