As a Test Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all components and sub-assemblies meet production schedules and performance standards. From utilising test procedures and drawings to documenting test results accurately, your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the overall success of the organisation. Responsibilities:

  • Perform various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
  • Utilise test procedures, drawings, schematics, and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
  • Recognise nonconformities and take appropriate action.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and follow ISO practises and procedures.
  • Maintain fixturing and perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
  • Provide training to other team members in established processes.
  • Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Document test results accurately.
  • Serve as the technical interface with other departments.
  • Model professional and positive work ethics.
  • Consider the impact of quality on customers when making decisions.
  • Thrive in a team environment.
