Our client develops, engineers and manufactures high integrity, complex castings within theAutomotive, EV, Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence, Petrochemical and architectural industries. They now require an Engineering Team Leader to manage the employees within the sandfoundry.
The role will involve the supervising and training of new and existingemployees to ensure that they integrate into the foundryenvironment and understand what is expected of them atthe various stages of their development. It will also be important to identify their strengths and areas that will require further training, so that the person can become fully integrated into the foundry environment and hence encouragethem to reach theirfull potential. The aim being to create an exciting and insprirational environment that is a great place to work.
Essential Requirements
HND Level 5 in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
Experience from within any of the following industries: moulding, plastics, composites, pressure die casting
The successful person will have at least three to four years experience within manufacturing engineering, including working on the shop floor.
Have demonstrable leadership qualities.
Be able to supervise and train new people
Preferred, But Not Essential Requirements
Sand Foundry/casting background with associated skill and experience.
Pattern making technology experience.
Hours of Work
The standard working week is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm, 40 hours per week.
