Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! We're on the lookout for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work across Primary schools in the Haywards Heath and the surrounding areas

 
The Role 

  • Provide one-on-one  and small group support to students with special educational needs in the classroom. 
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing personalized learning plans to meet the individual needs of SEN students. 
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported. 
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to implement strategies for student success. 
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to support. 

 
Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications or experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a primary school setting. 
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN and helping them achieve their full potential. 
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Hold a DBS certificate or happy to have one issued
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN students. 
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for all students.
