Butler Rose are pleased to be working alongside a well-respected firm of accountants and auditors in the Liverpool area, who are looking to add a motivated Audit Senior to their team.

The Role:

As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading audit engagements and providing valuable insights to clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior audit team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing proactive solutions to address challenges.
  • Collaborating with partners and managers to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance audit methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Ideally Qualified ACA/ACCA auditor with significant experience in external audit engagements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing audit teams and driving performance excellence.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
