Description
- Develop strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Lead the Accounting & Finance team in executing these strategies.
- Forge strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on business development activities.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Profile
A successful Business Development Accountant should have:
- A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - ideally AAT/ACA/ACCA
- Proven experience or strong interest in a business development role within the professional services industry.
- Strong financial acumen and business development skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of the professional services industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
