The Role
We are seeking an Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, assessing project feasibility, and contributing to the successful delivery of shopfitting and hotel projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' operations remain uninterrupted by carefully considering site-specific requirements, resource management, and communication strategies during project execution. As well as this you will be able to work across the full procurement process which will give you exposure to different parts of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions, and budget proposals for shopfitting, hotels & general Construction projects.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine material, labour, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to support project success.
- Ensure estimates align with project timelines, client expectations, and budget constraints.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to monitor cost control and variations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and pricing structures.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of estimating software and construction methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
