Are you a qualified accountant with a strong analytical mind and a keen eye for detail?We are seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
- Assist with the production of VAT and Corporation Tax returns.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation, impairment, and disposal.
- Implement and maintain IFRS 16 lease accounting standards.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the intercompany accounting and reconciliation process.
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with group policies.
- Participate in monthly group reporting calls and provide detailed variance analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
Skills and Experience: - Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
