A client based in the fast-paced retail industry is seeking a diligent Financial Controller to oversee their finance department.
Client Details
Our client is based in the retail / ecommerce industry and has grown significantly over the past few years. They are now looking for a Financial Controller to support them in the next stage of their growth. You'll join a team of finance professionals and report directly into the Managing Director.
Description
- Preparing management accounts and overseeing day to day accounting functions
- Partnering with non financial stakeholders to develop budgets
- Providing forecasts and variance analysis
- Conducting financial analysis to assess the performance of various product lines
- Identifying and recommending areas for improvement and spotting potential risks to enable growth and efficiency
- Managing a finance team of 3 people
- Liaising with external auditors
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Job Offer
- Salary in the region of £60,000, level dependent on experience
