Financial Reporting Accountant

Liverpool

£55-60,000 plus package

Resourcery Group are working with a large, well known brand in Liverpool as they look to hire a Financial Reporting Accountant. This business is highly regarded as a place to work and has an excellent reputation. The Financial Reporting Accountant will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to produce the quarterly and annual accounts and financial statements.This role will be based in Liverpool but hybrid working is also available.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts accurately and deliver on time, ensuring financial control and integrity.• Provide support to the Record to Report team and Financial Reporting Manager by preparing disclosures and information for inclusion in the quarterly accounts and the annual financial statements.• Produce quarterly scheme reporting pack including commentary, high level analysis and supplementary schedules.• Produce quarterly reconciliations with analysis to support the integrity of the quarterly and annual accounts.• Produce technical accounting papers for key accounting judgements to an appropriate level of quality to enable efficient review by the Financial reporting manager and the Group financial controller.• Support the annual external audit by establishing good working relationships with the external audit team and communicate progress of key deliverables.Key Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA.• Experience of preparing, reviewing and submitting statutory accounts• Strong interpersonal skills.• Strong analytical skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
