Reed Finance have recently partnered up with a fantastic SME business who are on the lookout for their next Group Financial Controller. Dealing with an annual turnover of £10 million this client is looking for someone with a strong background in finance at a similar level and are open to level of qualification.
Ideally a candidate with a background in hospitality this is an exciting position for someone looking to develop and utilise skills gained in a similar role.
The Role:
- Oversee and develop the finance function, including reporting, tax, and sometimes FP&A.
- Handle internal reporting, like monthly management accounts and ad hoc reports.
- Manage external reporting, including board packs and reports to lenders and investors.
- Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and accurate cash forecasting.
- Manage external audits and develop internal controls for growth.
- Keep the team updated on IFRS and manage accounting policies.
The Person:
- QBE, Part Qualified or fully qualified
- Must be personable as working with a small finance team
- Must have great communication skills both written and verbally
- Experience with Xero is an advantage
- Ideally must be a driver due to location
