We're exclusively partnering with a thriving business based in the heart of Liverpool to find a Financial Controller who can bring both structure and strategic insight to a changing business and finance function. This is more than just a Financial Controller role, you will be an integral part of shaping how the business looks and be at the forefront of upcoming project work
Your role as Group Financial Controller:
- Lead the statutory financial statements for all group and subsidiaries
- Liaise with auditors
- Detailed Tax knowledge to assist business with all Tax matters
- Work with SLT on all business strategies and market development
- Work with CFO on decision making
- Collaborate with wider finance team to streamline and enhance processes
- Manage and develop Financial Reporting team
- Continuously improve financial reporting system to enhance efficiency
- Assist project team on implementation of new ERP system
What We're Looking For:
- ACA-qualified (Top 5 audit firm experience preferred)
- Strong background in tax compliance and planning, alongside robust technical accounting expertise
- Proven experience managing and developing finance teams
- Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
- Confident, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment
