Group Financial Reporting Accountant / Liverpool / circa £60k / 12 Month FTC / Office BasedEmployment Particulars:- Free car parking- Mon to Thurs 9.00am-5.30pm & Fri 9.00am-3.00pm- 25 days annual leave- 5% Employer Pension Contribution- Private Medical InsuranceAccountable Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a well known Liverpool based Manufacturing company to find a Group Financial Reporting Accountant to complete a 12 month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly into the Group FC you will be responsible for the smooth transition of further management accounts production from business partners to the head office accounts team. You will have overall responsibility to produce management accounts for all companies within the group providing guidance and support for 2 assistant accounts with responsibility to review their work.Key day to day duties will include:- Establish and maintain effective controls within the processing environment of the Accounting Services function.- Ensure accurate reporting in monthly management accounts and compliance with UKGAAP- Ensure all supporting balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly.- Deal with any queries raised by the stakeholders in relation to the accounts- Preparation of the group cash flow forecasts on a weekly basis to be presented to the financial controller for consolidation. - Proactively suggest and provide solutions to issues that may arise.- Develop as the main contact for the audit and tax process for all companies within the group, managing the relationship and fulfilling requests The successful candidate will:- be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified - have previous experience managing/supporting a team- have similar experience in a previous role and be able to hit the ground runningFor more information please contact Paul at Accountable Recruitment on .
