Personal Tax Semi Senior Description:

One of Liverpool’s largest independent accountancy practices is offering a position within their growing taxation division for a Personal Tax Semi Senior, to support the delivery of high-quality personal and trust tax compliance services to their clients.

This leading firm of chartered accountants has an excellent reputation in the market, and employs over 100 staff across their audit, accounting, taxation and payroll divisions.

You will be joining an experienced and friendly team who can offer excellent support, training and mentorship towards completing your ATT / CTA studies. You will be working with a wide variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, directors of limited companies and HNWI across a diverse mix of industry sectors.

Ideally you will be studying ATT with 2 years’ experience gained in accountancy practice.

The firm has a number of trainees and as such, offers a fun and sociable environment to work within.

As a Personal Tax Semi Senior / ATT studier, you will assist the Personal Tax Seniors and Managers in the following areas:

Dealing with tax compliance matters for personal and trust tax clientsAssisting in the preparation of P11 D and PAYE settlement agreementsDealing with communication from clients, HMRC and third partiesProviding assistance to the tax management team on various adhoc tasks, compliance and advisory, as and when requiredUndertaking technical research into specific areas of legislationPreparing an submitting voluntary declarations to HMRC
