A new forward thinking accountancy practice is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to support its growth plans. The firm offers innovative accounting solutions for SMEs and acts as an outsourced finance function for manager-owned businesses, helping them grow by using technology and key financial data. You will take ownership of a client portfolio whilst also becoming involved in improving company processes, systems, and development. This is a key hire, someone who will contribute significantly to internal operations, overall efficiency and continued growth. As Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing statutory year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.
Overseeing, training, and assisting junior team members.
Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping and VAT returns.
Developing and maintaining proactive working relationships with clients.
Creating and delivering strategic board packs and management reports.
Assisting management with the daily operation of the firm.
Building client proposals and marketing additional services to current and potential clients.

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant with:

Demonstratable experience within a practice environment and either working towards, or have achieve ACA/ACCA status.
Comfortability managing clients and working autonomously.
