My client, an ambitious FTSE-listed financial services firm are looking to appoint a Senior Group Accountant to take ownership of the consolidated monthly forecast, annual budget and longer-term plans, as well as providing input into various regulatory forecasts. This key role will:
  • Assist with the end-to-end consolidated budgeting and forecasting process,
  • Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and longer-term financial plans
  • Consolidate returns from financial control teams to create a comprehensive group-wide budget and forecast
  • Work closely with Strategic Finance to produce high quality, timely and robust Board and Executive reports
  • Work closely with the regulatory team to help capital and liquidity forecasting
  • Track financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing commentary and actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline budgeting and forecasting processes
