Accounts Assistant - £28,000pa

Permanent - Kirkby

We are partnering with a fantastic client who have are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team. Salary is dependent on experience but ranging up to £28,000pa.

This opportunity is based on site in Kirkby, Liverpool and is a full-time permanent position with fantastic benefits such as:

In this position as an Accounts Assistant, you will be covering some of the below responsibilities:

  • Processing Purchase Ledger invoices to accounting system Fuelsoft.
  • Verify invoice details and obtain necessary approvals before processing payments.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Chasing missing invoices and statements prior to month end.
  • Queries on a day-to-day basis, liaising with relevant approvers to ensure timely completion
  • Completing trade application forms.
  • Enter new suppliers onto the system.

Requirements of the role:

  • AAT qualified or working towards ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Have previous accounts experience.
  • Self-motivation to take personal responsibility for your professional development.
  • Strong IT skills.
