Excellent opportunity to an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the UK Head Office of a hugely successful, global manufacturer with operations in the US, Europe, Asia and India. £70m UK turnover, £300m Group. Working in a friendly and collaborative team your remit will include:
- Ensuring the timely and accurate entry of financial information into SAP.
- Supporting the month end close and reporting.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Intercompany reconciliations.
- Accruals and Prepayments.
- General Ledger postings.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Posting bank transactions and maintaining cash book reconciliations.
- Responsible for the collation of payroll data and uploading it to the 3rd party payroll provider, ensuring the payroll is correct before being processed.
- Supporting with employee payroll and pension queries.
- Supporting the annual audit.
- Supporting the Senior Management Accountant and European FC with the ongoing improvement of financial controls and procedures.
Applicants will ideally be AAT qualified - or actively working towards AAT qualification - and must have prior accounting experience in a similar profile role. Manufacturing sector and SAP desired but not essential. Salary £30-35k (Possibly some flexibility) with benefits including Bonus (to 5%) study support, 6% pension, 25 days holidays and a 38hr week, Hybrid working, 3 days office, 2 days home.
