About the Role:
We are a growing, independent mid-sized accountancy firm based in Liverpool, and we are currently looking for an ambitious and driven Audit Semi-Senior to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their audit career in a supportive, friendly environment with a varied and exciting client base.

Working with clients across a wide range of industries-including manufacturing, retail, haulage, and recruitment-you will gain exposure to businesses with turnovers up to £250m and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with larger audits for clients with turnover up to £250m.
  • Lead smaller audits (up to £25m turnover) from planning through to completion.
  • Supervise, train, and provide feedback to junior audit assistants.
  • Complete accounts preparation work for limited companies during quieter audit periods.
  • Work across a variety of sectors, focusing on trading businesses in the North West region.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of audit fieldwork experience.
  • Currently studying towards ACA (certificate level completed) or ACCA, or QBE equivalent.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience working with trading entities.
  • An individual who thrives in a hybrid role, balancing both audit and accounts preparation.
