Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individualĀ to join their close-knit teamĀ in Liverpool as a Streetworks Coordinator! Our client prideĀ themselvesĀ on fostering a positive working environment with opportunities for career progression. The Streetworks Coordinator is responsible for managing and monitoring street works operations, ensuring compliance and efficient process handling. This position reports to the Streetworks Manager and plays a key role in updating and maintaining project management trackers and internal management systems.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Action and monitor closures within the department, ensuring timely updates and communications.
  • Maintain and update the Project Management Tracker as jobs are completed.
  • Regularly update internal management systems with in-progress end dates, road types, and permit information.
  • Manage and save daily progress reports in a shared area, notifying relevant parties.
  • Send out daily closure notifications and liaise with local authorities as required.
  • Input all information from the Proposed Works Report into jobs on the internal management system.
  • Complete registrations and R1s within specified timeframes.
  • Assist the Streetworks compliance team with any queries and maintain the internal management system dashboard accurately.
  • Provide support in other areas of the business as needed, including covering for sickness and holidays.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Essential:

    • Ability to develop and deliver multiple/diverse work streams.
    • Strong ability to work well under challenging and changing situations.
    • Excellent time management and communication skills, both internally and externally with staff, clients, customers, and suppliers.
    • Flexible approach to work to ensure the delivery of planned and unplanned activities.
    • Ability to adapt seamlessly to change.
    • Effective team player and capable of working independently.
  • Desired:

    • Knowledge of NRSWA and associated Streetworks legislation.
  • Education:

    • GCSE level education including Maths & English is preferable.
