Role Summary

Working for an international award-winning design and manufacturing business. You will provide full administrative support to various business areas, necessitating a high level of adaptability.

This role involves various responsibilities, including coordinating with managers to arrange site visits according to visitor procedures while providing excellent customer service to all visitors and customers.

There will be a significant level of support to the Finance Assistant daily, this will involve Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including but not limited to:

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes.
  • Follow-up any queries/issues to ensure the invoices are processed promptly.
  • Responsible for the reconciliation & processing of the 3 company credit cards.
  • Generate sales invoices and customer credit notes.
  • Allocate cash receipts to customer accounts.

You will support the Procurement department with duties including:

  • Speaking with all suppliers via the telephone, email and online portals
  • Many of our suppliers will be overseas, so there will be some communication delays due to time differences
  • Maintaining the database with all supplier orders, deliveries, product issues, delays and faults, etc.
  • Maintaining accurate order costs and delivery dates and times
  • Liaising with the production teams relating to the availability of stock and materials for the production areas.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Experience in an admin/office support role.
  • Knowledge and experience using ERP systems.
  • Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Interpersonal skills to complement our cooperative working environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in communicating with people internally and externally over the phone, email, and other communication platforms, such as Microsoft Teams.
