Applications Development Engineer required. Our client is an industrial coating company that has over 25 years of experience on a world-wide basis. They are now looking for a Application Development Engineer due to the growth of the business.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the overall product support of sensing and control products within the Company's portfolio. The role holder will also be responsible for the development, manufacturing and product support of various other systems which will be added to the Company's product portfolio in the future.

Applications Development Engineer Position Overview

Experimental testing and development of new products
Electronics development and testing
Embedded software and user interface development and testing
Perform experimental performance characterisation and data collection
Responsible for industry trials and implementation of product demos
On and offsite customer support activities such as training and troubleshooting
Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with the required standard to ensure conformance to the engineering specification, and for promoting a product safety culture in the organisation.
Assistance in general R&D and Company activities

Applications Development Engineer Position Requirements

A minimum of 1 years' experience as an Electronic Engineer
A minimum of 1 years' experience in automation
Vacuum engineering industry
Willing to travel international
High level IT systems proficiency
Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems design
Knowledge of microelectronics design and development
Computer programming language skills (BASIC, C++, visual basic)

Applications Development Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary: 35,000
Working hours: 37.5 hours
