Description
As an Accounts Payable Advisor, you'll be at the heart of a busy finance team, processing a high volume of invoices and ensuring accuracy and compliance. You'll be managing your own workload, liaising with suppliers, and collaborating across teams to resolve queries efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing invoices and credit notes: Ensuring accurate coding by expense type and VAT treatment.
- Supplier account management: Reconciling accounts, maintaining master data, and resolving discrepancies.
- Issue resolution: Handling queries promptly and escalating significant concerns where necessary.
- Building strong relationships: Communicating effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Advisor should have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or a related field
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
