Adaptable Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established business based in Liverpool to find a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and resolving any discrepancies
  • Reconciling supplier statements and managing queries
  • Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is desirable
  • If no experience, candidates must be studying AAT or be a finance-related graduate
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
