Adaptable Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established business based in Liverpool to find a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and resolving any discrepancies
- Reconciling supplier statements and managing queries
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is desirable
- If no experience, candidates must be studying AAT or be a finance-related graduate
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
