Experienced Bookkeeper - Accountancy Firm - Liverpool City Centre
We are fortunate to work with a highly regarded firm of Accountants based in Liverpool City Centre. This Bookkeeping position is a new role and as an addition to their very experienced and extreemly loyal team.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years or more experience working as a Bookkeeper within an Accountancy Firm.
- A minimum 2 years’ experience of VAT experience
- AAT qualification would be advantageous but not a requirement.
- Previous experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Kashflow and office management software like Microsoft Office (namely Word & Excel).
The Role
- Responsible for bookkeeping for an interesting variety of clients from sole traders to large limited companies.
- Preparing VAT returns
- Resolve client VAT queries
- Posting invoices onto software
- Reconciling bank on software
- VAT administration
- Assisting clients in the use of various software packages
