My client has an exciting opportunity for a General Construction Operative .
This position offers great flexibility as you will be required to travel across our Liverpool & Sefton services providing support to our residents in a number of ways, including moving bulk items, cleaning and delivering excellent customer service.
To be considered for this post you must hold a valid UK Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities as a General Construction Operative will include:
To be responsible for maintaining the outdoor communal areas of all properties.
To liaise with the Maintenance Admin and external furniture suppliers to order furniture as and when needed.
To keep a monthly check on furniture stock and report this to the Maintenance Admin.
To ensure all PPE/health and safety is adhered to when handing SHARPS and make sure they are disposed of correctly and safely.As and when directed to clear out severely dilapidated properties ready for maintenance works.
As and when directed, liaise with external contractors and collect supplies/materials and drop off at designated locations as directed by the Maintenance Coordinator/Management.
Ensure newly supplied washing machines are plumbed in and tested for water tightness.
To liaise with Project Managers to coordinate the disposal of previous tenants’ belongings.
To drive the van in line with policies.To ensure storage areas for furniture stock is clean and tidy at all times
To be responsible for collecting furniture when purchased by my client and to deliver or store in the allocated property.
What we’re looking for in our ideal General Maintenance Operative:
Previous experience in a similar post.
An ability to self manage and prioritise.
A can do attitude.
A great team player.
The successful applicant must have a full, valid UK driving licence.
