DKF Recruitment are recruiting for an Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager to join one of our clients, a leading asbestos removal contractor based in the North West.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to add an Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager to manage projects from the initial enquiry through to job completion. You will be directly liaising with the Managing Director.

The successful candidate will be based from the client’s Merseyside office and will assist with a wide range of projects across a variety of clients on sites such as commercial, industrial and residentials premises. Most of these projects are located in the North West, however occasional nationwide travel may be required.

What your core responsibilities would be:

· To attend sites and carry out scoping to quote for tenders for asbestos removal projects.

· To prepare a plan of works, method statement and risk assessment in accordance with company procedures and policies.

· To ensure that all employees comply with the regulatory requirements and are given instructions to safely carry out their tasks.

· To complete documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, tenders, appraisals, and ASB5 notifications and close out reports and will develop current / future client relationships.

· To carry out any other duties that are required.

· To build and develop relationships with clients and raising the reputation of the client.

· To work within the Company Policies and Procedures to ensure achievement and maintenance of accreditations.

· To share the responsibility of the out of hours emergency call line as well as interacting with the HSE/local authority, EA, governing bodies as requested.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:

· Experience working in as a Contracts Manager in the Asbestos industry.

· Hold a current Contracts Manager qualification through either ARCA or ACAD.

· Relevant asbestos certificates such as Asbestos medical, Half mask face fit and CSCS card.

· Compiling method statements, risk assessments in line with statutory guidelines

· Full UK Driving Licence.

· Proficient in using tablet or PDA.

· Able to work under pressure and prioritise work to meet deadlines.

· Flexible in terms of evening and weekends if required.

· Good communication, literacy, and organisation skills.

· Be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of an effective approach to customer care and quality service delivery.
