The Business Manager will be an experienced Safeguarding Manager who will lead the delivery and operation of safeguarding arrangements within statutory responsibilities to multi-agency partners across Liverpool, including the strategic business planning process and overseeing of the LSCP Strategic board and sub-groups.

The role includes assisting Chairs of the board efficiently writing reports, procedures, guidance and providing public information,. The role will confidently advice LSCP members on Safeguarding policy issues and assertively make recommendations for decision-making in respect of the LSCP's budget, duties, priorities and future direction. They will collate and analyse data, quality assure and performance manage with regards to producing reports around rapid reviews and local safeguarding practice reviews and assist the process of serious case reviews. Excellent communication skills are paramount.

The candidate will be an experienced safeguarding manager qualified in social work, nursing, teaching or policing and have extensive strategic knowledge within a safeguarding setting, managing staff in a multi-agency environment. Will have experience of co-ordinating and chairing multi-disciplinary meetings and developing and writing policies and procedures, performance management and quality assurance
