Role: Chef Lecturer Location: Merseyside Contract Type: Temporary Hours: Full Time Rate: £30 per hour. Eden Brown are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Chef Lecturer on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester. This is a full time temporary role to cover sickness. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and hands-on culinary instruction, ensuring a high standard of teaching across practical and theoretical classes. * Mentor and support students in developing core culinary skills, techniques, and creativity. * Demonstrate and uphold best practices in food safety, kitchen management, and culinary innovation. * Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and prepare them for successful careers in the culinary field. Requirements: * Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally at a senior level (e.g., Head Chef, Sous Chef). * Culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent). * Previous teaching or training experience preferred but not essential. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for mentoring emerging talent. * Up-to-date knowledge of food safety standards and industry trends.
