The Opportunity

The Global Brand Manager will drive brand growth in the kitchen and homewares arena by developing and executing plans that enhance brand visibility and capitalise on new product opportunities. This role requires a creative thinker with an understanding of consumer behaviour who can follow trends and collaborate closely with the Sourcing, Product and wider Marketing stakeholders to ensure the product portfolio aligns with both brand identity and emerging market demands.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to increase market share, brand awareness, and customer loyalty.
  • Product Positioning and Market Gap Analysis: Collaborate with marketing and product managers to define product positioning and ensure alignment with market demands.
  • New Product Development: Drive new concept development and collaborate with sourcing teams to ensure product quality.
  • Marketing Campaigns and Promotions: Plan, coordinate, and evaluate marketing campaigns across various channels to effectively communicate brand messages and drive sales.
  • Budget Management: Allocate resources effectively to achieve marketing objectives and deliver ROI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales tools and training programs.
  • Consumer Engagement and Insights: Build strong relationships with consumers through targeted communication and engagement strategies.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in brand management or marketing, preferably in consumer goods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of brand management and consumer behaviour. Bonus points if it is within the homewares/kitchen/gifts segments!
  • Familiarity with market research methods and consumer behaviour analysis.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies (desirable).
  • Proficiency in marketing tools for campaign planning and brand analysis.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate brand performance.
  • Proven success in launching and managing brands or products.
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media strategy (desirable).
