Salary: £59,000 - £64,000 + 18% Bonus + Company carField Based PositionTerritory: (Northern Region) Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Blackburn Our prestigious and award-winning client is currently looking for a Territory Account Manager. The successful individual will represent the company and support the Regional Commercial Manager in achieving overall strategic objectives. The role involves taking ownership and delivering on assigned targets, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction. The Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a direct sales role involving complex sales/tenders in the diagnostics industry.About the RoleSales and Account Management:

  • Drive pre-tender business development activities, including 3rd party business areas to support MSC bids.
  • Develop and implement strategies to secure and grow business, contributing to the company’s success.
  • Take ownership of all sales activities for Haematology and Haemostasis equipment, services and MSCs within the designated territory.
  • Lead and deliver high-quality tender responses, collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Manage operational excellence post-sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and service delivery through regular business reviews and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Deliver on financial and technical targets, ensuring accurate forecasting and business progress reporting.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a champion for the customer.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and ensure timely renewal of customer annual purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and deliver accurate business reports.

Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory.
  • Engage in pre-tender business development activities and influence tender development through the company’s value propositions.
  • Provide feedback on market developments and contribute to strategic business decisions.

Performance Management:

  • Monitor and manage sales performance, providing detailed forecasts and updates.
  • Support the Regional Commercial Manager with timely reports on business progress and market feedback.

You will Have

  • A Life Science degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Account Management within the healthcare diagnostics sector.
  • Proven experience in managing complex sales cycles within laboratory diagnostics.
  • Strong knowledge of NHS Networks, procurement processes and tender frameworks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated and manage time effectively.
