We are looking to secure a graduate or asistant building surveyor for well regarded building surveying company near Liverpool Street, London.
About the position
Our client is well respected chartered building surveyor, having worked for some of the major practices and client organisations he founded his company just over 10 years ago. Since then it has flourished, he works with a small but highly specialised team, providing rounded building consultancy advice to some of London's most prestigious estates and landowners.
They are passionate about listed buildings, conservation and enjoy delivering a good breadth of work, through project and professional services - excellent exposure for your RICS APC!!
The majority of work is within Zone 1, occasionally there is the need to travel further afield.
This graduate or assistan building surveying position has been created due to an increased workload, they are now looking to invest in another building surveyor and grow the company's capability. There are three chartered building surveyors witin the team, so you will have close mentorship, recent best practices and all the support you would require to succeed.
Current projects include:
- Office refurbishment
- Hotel refurbishement
- Retail and private residential projects.
- Various net zero projects
- Party wall instructions
About you
You must have a degree in Building Surveying and the desire to become a member of RICS. You may or may not have experience in industry, what is essential is that you are:

- Willingness to learn
- Punctual
- Strong grasp of the written word
- Clear communication
- Able to work off your own initiative
- Enjoy a social environment
