About The Role
Morrison Energy Servicesis recruiting for aCommercial Manager to work on our Smart Metering Contract.You will be part of ourContract Management Team working in our Bootle office.

This is full time role but with a possibility of the option of part time.
As theCommercial Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Management of members of the Commercial Team including Analysts, Payroll administration and Commercial admin.
  • Enabling the Contract to monitor expenditure and identify costing saving opportunities.
  • Ensuring a robust schedule of activities is in place to deliver Monthly outputs both internally and externally with the client.
  • Ensure productions of monthly trading accounts including variance analysis, key performance indicators and supporting commentaries in line with agreed SLA and reporting deadlines.
  • To ensure the Internal Monthly Reconciliation exercise is completed and reported.
  • To ensure Client Commercial reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Actively participating in client meetings.
  • Obtaining & interpreting data and taking a proactive role in helping the senior leadership team understand financial information.
  • To prepare bridges/analysis highlighting key movements between actual and trading positions
  • Ensuring Sub Contractors are paid in line with agreements.
  • To ensure payroll is processed accurately and opportunities to make improvements to the process are identified and progressed.
  • To ensure that you work in a safe manner and comply with the companys Health and Safety Policy
  • To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
  • Previous relevant experience of management of costs and monthly reconciliation processing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Desirable
  • Experience with NEC3 Contracts
