We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator for a well known established engineering organisation based in Liverpool who supports the local automotive, dock and shipping, defence, oil and gas, and fluid and power generation sectors.

The role:

  • You will be responsible for working within the VHMC and HMC milling cell
  • Working from precision drawings to create programs
  • Using the latest CNC vertical and Horizontal machining centres equipped 4th Axis and renishaw probing
  • Programming can be done offline via One CNC - XR8 3D milling software or on the machine using manual Guide software or via standard ISO keyboard input

Requirements:

  • Must be time served or hold an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent
  • Able to program, set and operate vertical machining centres using Fanuc controls
  • Working from precision engineering drawings
  • Working with various grades of steel including steel, stainless steel, alloy steels, brass, bronzes and other non ferritec materials
  • Using the latest CNC vertical and Horizontal machinig centres equipped with 4th Axis & Renishaw probing.
  • Programming can be done offline via CNC XR8 3D milling software
  • Using manual guide software or via standard ISO keyboard input

Hours of work:

Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 16.30 / Fri 07.30 - 12.00

Salary:

£34,000 - £36,000 per annum with Overtime OTE of £45,000 - £48,000 per annum
