I am currently working with a Housing Association in Liverpool, looking for a Contract Surveyor to join their team.

Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Contract Surveyor to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Operations Delivery Lead in managing and developing the Joint Venture Partnership Team. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused maintenance and refurbishment services within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver responsive maintenance and refurbishment services within budget.
  • Develop specifications and schedules of work for various projects.
  • Supervise repairs to tenanted and void properties, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Provide technical support to partnership teams.
  • Represent our client at program site meetings.
  • Conduct quality checks and surveys to ensure standards are met.
  • Maintain asset management databases and monitor performance.
  • Assist in policy and procedure development to enhance service delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints and disrepair claims effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: HNC in Building Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • Desirable: Degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in project or contract management, particularly in large-scale program works.
  • Experience in the social housing sector is essential.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Construction Design Management Regulations 2015.
  • Familiarity with housing management IT systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Personal Qualities:

  • Proactive approach to self-development.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours.
  • Valid UK driving license.
