A leading Commercial Law firm with offices across the North West are seeking an ambitious Property Litigation Paralegal to join the team at their Liverpool office. You will ideally have some prior Paralegal experience within Commercial Litigation or a Commercial Property environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience early on in your career with a progressive and supportive firm.The Role:

  • You will be assisting the wider Property Litigation team with a range of Property Litigation matters. You will be able to work both as a team and independently.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Solicitor with their case load and carrying out various duties such as dealing with new enquiries, dealing with clients over the phone and in person, taking new instructions, preparing letters before action, preparing various court documentation, drafting witness statements, preparing trial bundles.
  • You will be attending court to assist counsel
  • Dealing with debt recovery claims
  • Drafting notices to terminate residential tenancies
  • Using HM Land Registry portal and Companies House

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a Commercial Litigation or Commercial Property environment.
  • Ideally previous Paralegal experience.
  • You will ideally have completed the LPC with elective subjects in line with this area of law
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Commercially focused
  • Excellent attention to detail and well organised
  • Client focused
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team with flexibility
