Job Title: Systems Support Trainer
Reports to: Systems Training Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Location: Home based, but travel required so must be a driver and based within the north west
Hours: 35 per week, option to work 4.5 day week / 9 day working fortnight
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum, includes bank holidays. Annual leave accruing up to 5 additional days with service, plus the option to buy/sell annual leave
Job Purpose:
As a critical part of the Systems Training Team, you’ll update current content, create and design new training material to support active systems across the organisation, delivering coaching, training, and support through both digital and face-to-face channels. This is for the roll out of our new Care Management System – this new system replaces an existing system which is now fairly outdated, and we are developing a new bespoke system to meet the requirements of our frontline staff supporting adults with learning disabilities / mental health needs.
You will help operational teams use systems efficiently and consistently, improving data accuracy and promoting best practices. With a focus on digital engagement, you’ll play an essential role in the organisation’s digital initiatives, identifying and delivering training that equips colleagues for success.
A confident communicator, you’ll need the patience, clarity, and enthusiasm to make technical subjects easy to understand. As a digital ambassador, you will promote the organisation’s systems and platforms to all staff.
Key Accountabilities:
• Maintain and create training content to support organisational systems.
• Collaborate with the Systems Training Manager to develop effective training rollout plans.
• Deliver training through face-to-face and digital channels, supporting the organisation’s digital goals.
• Assess staff digital skills and knowledge to ensure competence.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of operational systems, especially those supporting frontline teams.
• Act as the knowledge expert on systems, encouraging and guiding best practices for efficient system use.
• Utilise Microsoft applications and other digital tools to support the training programs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group coaching to further develop system skills and knowledge.
