Your Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid experience in credit control within theconstruction indsutry
  • Strong knowledge of CIS regulations and processes.
  • Expertise in subcontractor control and RCV regulations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience using CIS software


What You'll Do:

Credit Management

  • Monitor and manage client accounts for timely payments
  • Review aged debtors and reduce overdue accounts.
  • Oversee subcontractor control, including reports, reconciliations, and payment runs.
  • Weekly review of amounts outstanding to ESD.
  • Keep subcontractor insurance documents are up to date

CIS Compliance

  • Verify subcontractor details in line with CIS requirements
  • Ensure accurate deductions and payments under the CIS scheme
  • Submit CIS returns and maintain audit-ready records.

Debt Recovery

  • Issue monthly sales applications, valuations, reminders, and statements.
  • Chase outstanding payment certificates and final accounts.
  • Ensure timely turnaround of payment certificates and M&E splits.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare regular reports on credit control, outstanding debts, and CIS compliance.
  • Provide updates to management on high-risk accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
