First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Draughtsperson for their client based in Liverpool who are leading manufacturers of bespoke counters, bars, food displays.

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Draughtsperson to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with design, production, and project management teams to create precise and detailed drawings for bespoke products that meet both customer requirements and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Drawing Production: Create accurate and detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings for bespoke counters, bars, food displays, and associated fittings using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
  • Design Development: Collaborate with the design team to translate conceptual designs into manufacturing-ready technical drawings and specifications. Ensure all designs comply with structural, safety, and functional standards.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Work closely with clients, designers, and project managers to ensure designs meet client expectations. Ensure drawings reflect the practical aspects of production, installation, and functionality.
  • Material Selection: Work with the procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure the correct materials and finishes are specified for each project, ensuring both aesthetic and functional quality.

Essential:

  • CAD Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and 3D) or similar software for technical drawing. Experience with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials and manufacturing techniques relevant to bespoke counter and bar production.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar draughtsperson role within manufacturing, ideally in bespoke or commercial furniture, interior fit-outs, or shopfitting.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing detailed drawings, including measurements and material specifications.
